Unless the card was damaged or the magnetic strip on the back of the card is gone,it should still work. If not,contact your credit card company for a replacement.Will a credit card work even if it went through a wash cycle in the washing machine?
What counts is whether the magnetized strip will still work. Bending can wreck that, but I don't think water can. Best way to tell is to take it to a store or ATM and try using it.
You destroyed the magnetic strip.
It might still work. Just go someplace and test it.
