Can i wash my big stuff toy in a washing machine?

I have this 2 ft. stuff toy Garfield. he's soft and very huggable, he's very cute and very orange. i love him. but he's very dirty because i wasnt able to send him to the dry cleaning, been very busy. i have no time to bring him out to let somebody clean it. how can i wash him? can i put him inside the washing machine? or probably, i should just manually brush and clean him, then blow dry?

please help :)Can i wash my big stuff toy in a washing machine?
Try one of the Dryell kits!

Or if you want.....

If there are not electronics in the toys, they go right into the washing machine(use a front loading model)! I haven't had any problems yet!

I'd say use a gentle laundry soap like Woolite and let it air dry, otherwise it's ';fur'; gets matted.

put it in a pillow case to keep it safe. Can i wash my big stuff toy in a washing machine?
Just give him a soak and a rub with stain removing soap, then throw the big guy in the machine just on rinse %26amp; spin cycle, then let him sun bake
If he fits with enough ';elbow room'; to move around in the washer at home, then that would be okay. Or, you might want to wash him in a laundry mat washer, bigger. But 2 ft. should be fine in home washer.

Please, wash him in cold water, and dry him in the dryer on perm press or high temp. Probably perm press would be best, but make sure he is dry --so the dryer should run for about an hour or so.

Take care.
Depending on the size, it is best to wash stuffed animals inside a pillowcase, it still allows them to get clean without ruining the exterior.
I've thrown stuffed animals in the wash many times. It shouldn't be a problem, as long as it fits loosely in there.
