I have a yoga mat that's a little thicker than most and it's getting sort of dirty and won't get entirely clean by just scrubbing the surface. Will washing it on the delicate cycle ruin it?Can you wash your yoga mat in the washing machine?
if it is a sticky mat, or any kind of synthetic mat, then it will be fine in the washing machine, on a delicate cycle. best not to spin it though.
if you have any kind of eco/rubber/ or biodegradeable mat then it is best to dunk it in a cool bath and give it a bit of a scrub.
in all cases hang them out to dry for quite a while as they do hold onto alot of water.Can you wash your yoga mat in the washing machine?
thats probably not a good idea. try running some sort of steam cleaner over it
