What is the right way the whirlpool washing machine suppose to wash?

When I opened the lid of the washing machine I noticed that the clothes inside practically does not move. It looks like that only clothes at the bottom get washed but the one on top practically does not move. Do I put too much clothes or is machine broken? What is the right way the whirlpool washing machine suppose to wash?
well, if the lids open the agitator won't move. As far as I know the clothes don't really move that much, the agitator more moves the water and makes it flow through the clothes, and cleans them that way. Unless the clothes seem to not be clean i wouldn't worry about it, you can always try putting fewer clothes in and seeing if you get better results. What is the right way the whirlpool washing machine suppose to wash?
Hi.....

Your other contributor is correct, if the lid is not fully secure the oscillator will not move.. Your cloths should not cover the basket in the machine, ok? There is a round piece in the center of the basket, where you put the fabric softener?? Your cloths shouldn't go over that, there's a line on there, it's a molded plastic line.. Wash liked colors too, wash whites seperate..

Cloths should go with cloths and bedsheets and such go together.. Wash sweaters seperate...

It will help the rinse cycle if you do this, ok?? Good Luck..:-)))
